Holiday Gift Guide 1 by blkbrdbb featuring a wool hat
Those of you braving the battlefields that are retail shopping centers this Black Friday, we salute you. Someone's gotta do it because I won't. Americans can be strange creatures. We spend a whole day in thankful recline while providing a play by play of our Thanksgiving day, preferably via text or social media. The next day, a great majority of us go out and brutally maul our fellow shoppers in order to get the best Black Friday deals.
Maybe you can already tell, but I'm not a fan of Black Friday in its traditional sense - and for some families, it really is a tradition. My friend's family doesn't even have Thanksgiving dinner on Thanksgiving anymore. Her mom just makes turkey sandwiches and puts everything away for a celebratory "return from the front lines" meal. It's insane. Although theirs is an extreme situation (seriously girl, seek help) it goes to show how far people will go to get their holiday shopping done. Here's an alternative: how about doing some online shopping for your gifts this year instead of going out with the masses?
This is the first in a series of five gift guides that I've created: The Fashionista. From a trendy 100% wool hat to the limited edition gold Dolce & Gabbana perfume, this girl is all about her luxuries. She's known to look good at every party, especially the ones that she hosts. Everyone is dying to know where she bought her candle votives from but she's probably not telling. With her it's look but don't touch, so "hands off" the goods.
You can shop the guide below by clicking on the item you want to purchase. No knock-down, drag-out fight between otherwise sweet old ladies required.
